Homework

Throughout the course of the year, you will learn to use basic principles of Algebra to analyze and represent proportional and non-proportional linear relationships. You will apply operations to situations involving rational numbers as well as use probability and statistics to make predictions. You will develop a more sophisticated way of dealing with word problems by applying these skills.

Pre-Algebra

Homework will be assigned almost daily. It will be collected the next day. Homework assignments will be checked several times per week. You must finish the entire assignment to receive full credit. “Skipped” questions are unacceptable. You must make an honest attempt and show effort that you have worked at problems you find difficult. Your work must be neat, organized, readable, and in PENCIL.  You should include as much work as possible to justify your answer.  Your final answer should be circled if possible. Homework can be turned in late for 25% off for each day late.         (Ex. Homework turned in 1 day late has a maximum score of 75%).
